Meet the Library Staff

Picture of Dana Sachs Minneha Librarian

Dana Sachs, Librarian

Hi! Welcome to the Minneha Library.  I’m Ms. Sachs. I have been at Minneha for more than 20 years now.  I think Minneha Core Knowledge is a wonderful school… and the library, well personally, I think it’s the best place in the school. Time flies when you are at a great school.  Our library offers a wide-open space to grow into an active patron.  From kindergarten to fifth grade, our time is spent developing research skills, learning all about books from cover to cover, navigating the library and always…always finding that “just right” book to read and enjoy.  My hope is that your children have a wonderful 45 minutes each week spending time with me and my favorite place…the library.

Guide to Book Care

  • Keep your books in a safe place.
  • Return your books on time.
  • Do not eat or drink while reading library books.
  • Wash and dry your hands before reading library books.
  • Keep books away from pets and little ones. They do not know how to take care of books!
  • Never draw or write in a library book!
  • Always use a bookmark!
  • If the library book has been damaged, bring it to your librarian. They will repair it if they can. DO NOT REPAIR THE BOOK YOURSELF! Your librarian has the right tools and training to fix books.
  • If you lose your book or it is damaged while in your care, you will need to pay to replace it. Talk to your librarian.
